Canwest acquires 'Big Brother After Dark'
B'caster's Reality Channel to air show seven nights a weekTORONTO -- Canadian broadcaster Canwest Global Communications Corp. has acquired Showtime 2's "Big Brother After Dark" for its newly-launched Global Reality Channel as a simulcast.
Canwest Global is currently pulling in big primetime numbers on its main Global Television network airing three episodes a week of "Big Brother 12."
The broadcaster will now air "Big Brother After Dark," the uncensored and unedited live broadcast of what's happening inside the Big Brother house, on Global Reality Channel seven nights a week from midnight to 3 a.m.
Global Reality Channel launched on July 1 as Canada's first 24/7 reality TV series cable channel.
