Carey Mulligan kept it minimal and sleek in a strapless maroon gown by Balenciaga on the red carpet at the 2015 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday.

The actress is nominated for her leading role in Skylight, in which she stars opposite Bill Nighy, who's also nominated. Skylight has received seven nominations including best revival of a play, best actor and actress in a leading role in a play, best actor in a featured role, best scenic design of a play, best lighting design and best direction.
Mulligan's next projects include starring in Suffragette with Helena Bonham Carter and Meryl Streep. The film is scheduled for release on Oct. 23, 2015.
