Nayo Wallace has joined the cast of Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures' "Speed Racer," which is being directed by the Wachowski brothers. Wallace will play Minx, the girlfriend of Racer X (Matthew Fox), who is the rival of Speed (Emile Hirsch). Wallace's credits include appearances in "The Brothers," opposite Morris Chestnut and D.L. Hughley, and in "The Wood," with Omar Epps and Taye Diggs, as well as the ABC comedy "In Case of Emergency," Showtime's "Sleeper Cell" and CBS' crime drama "The District." She is repped by Visionary Artists, Michelle Leeds of Analogy Entertainment and Bloom Hergott Diemer. … Monique Gabriela Curnen and Nathan Gamble have joined the cast of Warner Bros. Pictures' "The Dark Knight," Christopher Nolan's sequel to "Batman Begins." Gamble will play the son of Gotham police Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman); Curnen is a fellow detective. Filming is taking place in Chicago and London. Curnen starred opposite Ryan Gosling in "Half Nelson" and appeared in Justin Lin's "Finishing the Game," which premiered in January at the Sundance Film Festival. Gamble ("Babel") recently wrapped "The Mist" opposite Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden and Andre Braugher for the Weinstein Co. and has been cast in Victor Fresco's "Deeply Irresponsible" for 20th Century Fox Television. Gamble is repped by Anonymous Content and Abrams Artists Agency. … Australian actor Vince Colosimo is putting on shades for "Daybreakers," Lionsgate Films' futuristic vampire film starring Ethan Hawke. Shooting is set to begin this month in Queensland, Australia. Colosimo's credits include "Lantana," opposite Anthony LaPaglia, Barbara Hershey and Geoffrey Rush; "The Hard Word," opposite Guy Pearce and Rachel Griffiths; and "Chopper," opposite Eric Bana. Colosimo is repped by Melanie Greene Management in the U.S. and RGM Associates in Australia. … Bru Muller has booked back-to-back gigs. He has been cast in "Surfer Dude," the Matthew McConaughey surfing comedy in which he provides comedic relief as a garage customer. He then will shoot Icon's horror movie "Infestation," directed by Kyle Rankin. In the supernatural thriller about giant insects taking over the world, Muller will play a reluctant hero who mobilizes people to safety. His recent credits include the comedy "Over My Dead Body" and "What We Do Is Secret," the biopic of punk band the Germs. He is repped by AKA and Michelle Jannone at Valeo Entertainment. … Arielle Kebbel has landed a lead role opposite Emily Browning and Elizabeth Banks in DreamWorks' "A Tale of Two Sisters," being directed by Tom and Charles Guard. Kebbel will play Browning's older sister, who tries to learn the truth about their mother's death. The film shoots this month in Vancouver. Kebbel recently shot the pilot "Football Wives" for ABC and appeared on the big screen in "John Tucker Must Die" and "The Grudge 2." She is repped by Endeavor, Martin Berneman Management and Ziffren, Brittenham.
