Get the Look, Digital Starlet Edition: Liz Cherkasova as Catherine Deneuve

Makeup artist Christina Guerra shares how she gave Late Afternoon blogger Liz Cherkasova a classic Catherine Deneuve "ice maiden" look.

Given Liz Cherkasova’s sunny, blonde California aesthetic, I knew it wouldn't be difficult to conjure Catherine Deneuve’s French “ice maiden” look (inspired by Roman Polanski's Repulsion) on her.

Liz has beautiful skin, so she didn’t need much besides NARS Luminous Moisture Cream ($62) and a hint of NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer ($42). I then used the NARS Botan Kabuki Brush ($75) to buff NARS' The Multiple Stick in Riviera ($39), a shimmery poppy cream blush, onto her cheekbones to give a sculpted look.

Next, I shaded her entire eye area with NARS Tibet Shimmer Eyeshadow, ($24), carrying the shimmery white color down into her inner corners for a wide-eyed look. After, I used the gray colors of the NARS Paris Eyeshadow Duo ($35) in her crease for a defined mod look. Since Deneuve's lashes are one of her trademarks, I used two pairs of Ardell Fashion Lashes in #102 ($3.99) for a more modern take on '60s spiky lashes. I used one pair on top of her lids and trimmed the second pair to fit her undereye area.

I finished the look with a sheer application of NARS Lip Gloss in Chihuahua ($25).
