CBS, ABC split ratings spoils Thurs.

Led by "Survivor," CBS won Thursday night in the Nielsen ratings while ABC's "Lost" ranked as the highest-rated show in the adults 18-49 demo. On the CW, "Reaper" returned from its post-strike hiatus to a new time period, but posted an average number.

Relieved from fighting an "American Idol" results show this week, "Survivor" (13.1 million viewers, 4.2 preliminary adults 18-49 rating and a 13 share) was up slightly from last week's series low. CBS also aired procedural repeats.

As for "Lost" (11.9 million, 4.8/13) the island's biggest mystery continues to be the show's episode-by-episode ratings erosion. Perhaps daylight-saving time was a factor, but the show was down 11% from last week to a series low, yet still won its time period for the seventh consecutive week.

At 10 p.m., ABC's "Eli Stone" (7.3 million, 2.5/7) edged out CBS' repeat and NBC's "Lipstick Jungle" (5.6 million, 2.4/7).

Fox was third with "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" (9.3 million, 2.7/8) and "Don't Forget the Lyrics" (8.8 million, 3.1/8).

In fourth, NBC aired comedy repeats, a low-rated "Celebrity Apprentice" (8.1 million, 3.1/8) and "Lipstick."

The CW had "Smallville" (3.8 million, 1.6/5) and "Reaper" (2.8 million, 1.2/3).
