CBS All Access Taps Fox's Danny Feldheim as Originals VP
He joins Julie McNamara as the streamer builds its creative ranks.
CBS continues to beef up the creative ranks at its young streaming operation, as CBS All Access on Thursday announced it has tapped Danny Feldheim as vp, original content.
The appointment comes on the eve of a big programming push for All Access, which thus far has only really been a platform for the network's linear series. A new iteration of Big Brother airs on All Access this fall, and 2017 will see the highly anticipated additions of the Good Wife spinoff and a new Star Trek.
“Danny is a forward-thinking creative executive with strong relationships in the talent community who shares our enthusiasm for launching our new premium service,” CBS All Access originals head Julie McNamara said in a statement. “We are thrilled to have him on our team.”
McNamara joined All Access in June, reporting to CBS TV Studios' David Stapf and CBS Interactive president and COO Marc DeBevoise.
Feldheim, who previously held jobs at Nickelodeon, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and ICM, comes to CBS from Fox. Most recently a drama exec who helped develop 24 spinoff Legacy, The Exorcist, Rosewood and Gotham, he originally joined the network in comedy.
At All Access, Feldheim will focus on both current programming and new development.
