Common, Tracee Ellis Ross and Mitt Romney can now add the title "doctor" to their name.

Kanye West, Magic Johnson and Common are officially doctors.

Each year, a handful of Hollywood's influential A-list stars and politicians are bestowed with an honorary doctorate from prominent universities across the country. This year, Jon Bon Jovi, Levar Burton, Tracee Ellis Ross and even Papa John's founder John Schnatter are joining the elite club of doctoral recipients which include Paul McCartney, Oprah and Ben Affleck.
