Celestial Pictures Inks Output Deal with Distribution Workshop

Package Includes New Tsui Hark Film, "What Women Want" Remake

HONG KONG – Celestial Pictures has inked an exclusive multi-year output deal with Distribution Workshop to add to the content on their pay-TV channel Celestial Movies, for Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. 

Highlights of the package includes director Tsui Hark’s upcoming 3-D martial arts epic, tentatively titled Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, starring Jet Li and Zhou Xun, director Chen Daming's remake of the Mel Gibson vehicle What Women Want, starring Andy Lau and Gong Li, and comedy Treasure Inn, directed by Wong Jing and starring Nicholas Tse.

The deal was for first-run pay-TV rights, pay-per-view and video-on-demand rights, and adds to the television channel’s content inventory which also includes films from Media Asia and Emperor Motion Pictures.
