Channel 4 Exec Ben Stoll Named Director of Development at 'Crossing Lines' Producer Tandem
He previously worked on series such as "Shameless," "Skins" and "Misfits."
BERLIN – Ben Stoll, a former development executive with Channel 4, has joined Munich-based production group Tandem Communications as the company's new director of development.
At Channel 4, Stoll headed up development on several hit series including Shameless, Skins and Misfits.
Tandem, which is owned by France's StudioCanal, recently greenlighted the second season of its English-language crime procedural Crossing Lines starring William Fichtner and Donald Sutherland and is currently prepping a new one-hour drama series, Sex, Lies and Handwriting, as well as the two-part event miniseries Breaking Off.
"Ben's narrative instinct and experience are ideally suited to Tandem's ongoing expansion in original programming for the international TV market," said Tandem president and partner Rola Bauer. "Ben will be a great support to Tandem's commitment to tap into the best writing and showrunner talents."
Tandem is expanding quickly and announced a number of new hires, including naming Mitch Zamarin its new press and PR manager and Marcos Eberle to head up delivers and logistics at the company.
