Charlie Sheen Expected to Present at the Emmys
The appearance comes at the height of the former "Two and a Half Men" star's publicity tour to promote his Comedy Central roast.
Charlie Sheen is expected to get his Emmy moment after all.
While details are being kept tightly guarded, the fired Two and a Half Men star is set to present at Sunday night's telecast, two sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. (While Sheen didn't submit himself for an Emmy nomination this year, his former co-star Jon Cryer is up for a supporting actor nomination.)

The move comes at the height of Sheen's publicity tour to promote his Comedy Central roast set to air Sept. 19.
He gave exclusive TV interviews in each daypart -- morning (NBC's Today), daytime (The Wendy Williams Show) and late night (NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno) -- as well as a string of brief red carpet interviews ahead of the roast's taping last week. It will air Monday evening, opposite Men.

Sheen's balanced demeanor in recent public appearances has proved promising for Lionsgate, which is prepping a comedy star vehicle, Anger Management, for the actor. With showrunner Bruce Helford (Drew Carey Show) on board, executives are expected to shop the project to broadcast and cable networks shortly.
THR revealed that several Emmy categories would be introduced Sunday by star-studded musical presentations by a group called the Emmingtons, which include Joel McHale, Taraji P. Henson and Zachary Levi.
