With Lorde and Kelly Rowland in the front row of its Paris Fashion Week show, Chloe went back to its girly, '70s-inspired roots and had a soundtrack to match.

Was there one thing on Chloe's fall 2015 runway that we do not want immediately, if not sooner? Non. At Paris' Grand Palais on Sunday, brand creative director Clare Waight Keller showed a collection befitting the Chloe of yore: 1970s-inspired, sheer, lace-tinged sun dresses, tailored vests over flowing accordion pleats and enough velvet (both mini and maxi, patchwork and plain) to make even the most staunch supporter of spring wish winter would stay forever. If the fabled French house's spring line felt a bit Coachella, its fall offering went pure Stevie Nicks

While major models including Lara Stone (aka Justin Bieber's CK ad co-star)Lily Donaldson, Anja Rubik and Dree Hemingway perfectly embodied the easy, breezy, no-makeup look of the modern Venice-to-Silver Lake girl, the clothes and the soundtrack took the room — which included Lorde and Kelly Rowland sitting front and center -— back to Laurel Canyon's heyday, with a bohemian luxe sensibility that undoubtedly will disappear from next season's shelves tout suite. (The smile on famed Bergdorf Goodman buyer Linda Fargo's face also helped give the collection's surefire sales forecast away.)

The Cali Canyon vibe was aided by the show's runway soundtrack, a simple mix of Fleetwood Mac and David Crosby that played a bit grainy and pure, as if produced by actual vinyl.

Since we won't be able to score any of Waight Keller's oh-so-cool clothes (or her drool-worthy forest green snakeskin mini flap bags) for months, we'll just have to tide ourselves over while driving PCH with our windows down.
