Early in the video, a man who appears to be Brown can be seen in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen escaping a headlock. Later, a large man wearing a blood-spattered wifebeater comes into view after leaving Brown’s area of the club. Not long after that, another large man appears on screen and a punch is thrown.

Some in the crowd appear rather delighted, shouting “punch him,” and “wow.”

According to earlier reports, the fight took place at around 4 a.m. Thursday at the nightclub W.I.P in SoHo. Brown, who later posted pictures of a cut, apparently had sent Drake’s table a bottle of champagne as a peace offering earlier in the night. Both men have romantic histories with singer Rihanna, which has led to speculation of bad blood between the two.

Drake is believed to have sent a nasty note back to Brown’s table in response, and then walked over to his table, punched him and thrown a bottle at Brown.  According to the NYPD, five people were injured in the brawl and no arrests were made. The two pop stars had left the scene by the time cops arrived.

Brown offered his take of the morning’s events, tweeting “How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol... Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!" and "Ok! N****s stand behind security! Ok! U don't pay them enough."

He has since deleted those tweets.
