Chris Dodd, Alfonso Cuaron Expected to Attend Beijing Film Festival
Paramount Pictures COO Frederick Huntsberry and Oliver Stone are also tipped to take part in the Chinese event, which kicks off April 17.
Chris Dodd, chairman of the Motion Picture Association of America, and Gravity director Alfonso Cuaron are expected to jet to China next month to participate in the Beijing International Film Festival, sources close to the festival say.
The Beijing fest, which runs April 16-23 this year, will make a formal announcement of the international guests and speakers lineup on March 25, but local insiders say Paramount Pictures COO Frederick Huntsberry and director Oliver Stone will also be involved in the event.
Established in 2011 in the Chinese capital, past editions of the Beijing festival have attracted Hollywood figures including James Cameron, Luc Besson, Kathleen Kennedy and Keanu Reeves.
This year's jury will be headed by director John Woo, who will help decide the winners of the event's Tiantan Awards.
