Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle: Touring Together?
The comedians take the stage together at New York City's Comedy Cellar.
Two comedy titans, Chris Rock and the reclusive Dave Chappelle, are talking about going on tour together.
While Chappelle was doing a set in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at New York City's Comedy Cellar, Rock jumped onstage to riff alongside the comic on a range of subjects including President Obama, Jay-Z, Prince and Seth MacFarlane hosting the Oscars. They also raised the idea of a joint tour, if they can get their schedules in line.
"After next Tuesday, I'm free for like 11 years," said Chappelle, according to The Comic's Comic website (via Gawker).

"I've got time between now and the movie," Rock said, apparently referring to one of two documentaries he's got in the pipeline. "By Halloween, I could do dates." He added that he needs prep time before agreeing to anything, joking: "Dave's like, let's just do it Wednesday. Unannounced!"
For the past few days, Chappelle -- who famously walked away from his popular Comedy Central show in 2005 -- has appeared at Comedy Cellar to try out new material.
Rock will appear in the sequel to Adam Sandler's Grown Ups this summer. The stand-up comic is also executive producer of the FX late-night talk show Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell.
A rep for Rock did not immediately respond to THR's request for comment.
