Mad Men star Christina Hendricks has left the Paul Kohner Agency and has yet to sign with new talent agents.
The split is said to be amicable. Hendricks will likely be a hot commodity with the big agencies due to her Emmy-nominated turn as Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce office manager Joan Harris (née Holloway) on the AMC drama. Mad Men will not return to television until 2012 because of labored contract negotiations between the network, studio Lionsgate and creator Matthew Weiner. But Hendricks has been keeping busy during the hiatus. Earlier this month she appeared in Stephen Sondheim's Company at the New York Philharmonic alongside Stephen Colbert, Neil Patrick Harris and Jon Cryer. Hendricks also has a handful of forthcoming film projects. There’s the comedy I Don’t Know How She Does It, which is currently in production and also stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Pierce Brosnan. She is also attached to Seconds of Pleasure, a Neil Labute-penned drama featuring Matt Dillon, Julia Stiles, Brendan Fraser and Kristin Scott Thomas. Hendricks continues to be managed by Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Entertainment. The Paul Kohner Agency could not immediately be reached for comment.
