Christopher Nolan feted by BAFTA/LA

Actor Michael Sheen also receiving an award

Christopher Nolan and Michael Sheen will be feted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts/Los Angeles at the 2010 BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards on Nov. 4 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel.

Nolan, riding high off of his boxoffice and critical hit "Inception" will receive the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for artistic excellence in directing, while Sheen ("The Special Relationship," "New Moon") will be honored with the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year.

Sheen starred in "Damned United," appeared in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," voiced the character of the White Rabbit in Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland," snagged an Emmy nomination for reprising his role of Tony Blair in HBO's "The Special Relationship" and recurred as Tina Fey's love interest in NBC's "30 Rock."

Stephen Fry is set to return as master of ceremonies for the awards show.
