Three key executives at Comcast International Media Group have received senior vp stripes amid an expansion of the group's global activities.

Describing Monday's appointments as "significantly expanding" the senior management team, CIMG president Kevin MacLellan named Duccio Donati to senior vp for the entire division, Cheryl McDermott to senior vp business operations and Gracia Waverly to senior vp international networks.

MacLellan said the team had expanded its responsibilities beyond the distribution of E! programming and the running of E! networks worldwide. The expansion began a year ago when a division was created to oversee Comcast's entertainment properties in the global marketplace. MacLellan had been senior vp international at Comcast-owned E! Networks before running the new operation.

"These individuals make up the team that was primarily responsible for the phenomenal success of E! Entertainment globally," MacLellan said. He added that each executive had played an integral role in the evolution of CIMG.

In his new role, Donati is charged with overseeing all sales and licensing for CIMG's programming assets that include E! Entertainment Television, the Style Network, G4, the Golf Channel, Versus and Exercise TV, as well as all worldwide home video, new-media content and brand licensing. He also will manage all of the recently announced international Web sites for E! Online. He was vp international sales at E! Networks. He joined the company as director of sales in 1999.

McDermott is now responsible for all joint ventures and business operations, in addition to CIMG's free-to-air network, E! Canada. She also oversees marketing, client services, sales administration and systems development for CIMG's international ventures. McDermott joined the company in 2001.

Waverly is responsible for channel operations for E! Entertainment's seven international networks and the Style Network, which recently launched globally, as well as all other future channel launches. She joined E! Networks in 1995.
