CinemaCon Announces Coca-Cola as Its Official Sponsor
The cola giant has signed on to support the inaugeral convention that is slated for March 28-31 in Las Vegas.
CinemaCon 2011, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners, has landed a major sponsor for its launch next month. The producers of the event announced Thursday that Coca-Cola will serve as the "Official Presenting Sponsor" for its inaugural convention.
"Since Coca-Cola was first served in movie theaters in the early 1920s, our brands have been a refreshing part of the movie-going experience for almost 90 years," Stefanie Miller, group VP, strategic partnership marketing for Coca-Cola, said in a press statement. "Through our association with CinemaCon, we're able to connect and collaborate with our valued theater industry partners and create movie-going experiences that bring moments of happiness to people every day in theaters around the world."
CinemaCon, which is set to take place March 28-31 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, is expected to attract upwards of 5,000 motion picture professionals and will present exclusive Hollywood product presentations, highlight upcoming films and premiere feature screenings.
