TORONTO -- Ed Gass-Donnelly's "This Beautiful City" was the big winner Friday night at the ACTRA Awards, as co-stars Caroline Cave and Aaron Poole went home with top performance honors.

Cave ("The L Word") grabbed the ACTRA Award for best actress, and co-star Poole picked up the best actor nod for their star turns in the 2007 Canadian feature about five people whose lives in Toronto intersect over a summer amid tragedy.

The ACTRAs, handed out in Toronto by Canada's actors union, also honored Matt Watts with a trophy for best voice work, while veteran actor Eric Peterson ("Corner Gas") earned the ACTRA Toronto Award of Excellence.
