Claire Danes is having a baby.

As first reported by People, the Golden Globe winning Homeland actress and her husband Hugh Dancy, star of NBC's upcoming drama Hannibal, are expecting their first child.

Danes and Dancy first met while filming Evening and wed in a small ceremony in France in 2009. The couple live in New York.

"I'm so lucky," Danes said during THR's recent TV drama actresses roundtable. "I live in the same neighborhood in New York in which I was raised, and I'm so spoiled in that respect."

With Homeland's second season premiere scheduled for Sept. 30, her pregnancy is not expected to affect production of the Showtime series.
