Tom Hanks will receive the Film Society of Lincoln Center's 36th Gala Tribute. The two-time Oscar winner will be feted with the black-tie event's traditional round of film clips and appearances from colleagues. The tribute is set for April 27 at New York's Alice Tully Hall.
MORLEY TURNS 360
Geoff Morley is jumping from his vp post at New York-based Scott Rudin Prods. to join Los Angeles-based Management 360 as a literary manager, repping screenwriters and filmmakers. It's a return to Morley's roots as an agent in UTA's motion picture literary department.
SAN FRAN PRIZES
The San Francisco Film Society has announced a new prize, the Golden Gate Award for Best Investigative Documentary Feature. The honor, with a cash prize of $25,000, will be presented at the next San Francisco International Film Festival's awards ceremony on May 6.
REFINERY TRAILERS WINN
Brett Winn has joined creative ad agency the Refinery as head of its new A/V division, handling trailers and TV spots, which launched Monday. The 2-year old Refinery was founded by Brad Hochberg and Adam Waldman; Winn has served stints at FX, Trailer Park and Disney.
