TUESDAY ratings

ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" gained viewers as it nears its finale. The show possibly is putting pressure on CBS whose "NCIS" and "The Mentalist" enjoyed season-high ratings last week but fell back to their usual numbers Tuesday. The CBS crime block slippage helped Fox's "Fringe" reclaim the 9 p.m. hour and win the night in the adult demo. "House" (13.3 million viewers, 5.6 rating /15 share) was the highest-rated show, and "NCIS" (18 million, 3.5/9) was the most-watched.
