CMT has gone into production on a series of specials following Billy Ray Cyrus as he struggles to balance fame with family life.

The four-part "Billy Ray Cyrus: Home at Last" -- a reference to the title of his latest album -- will center on the actor-singer-songwriter as he balances Hollywood and preparations to go on tour with his role as family man. Cyrus is the father of singer-actress Miley Cyrus, his co-star on the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," who also is on tour and will appear on the CMT program.

Billy Ray Cyrus rose to fame 15 years ago with the song "Achy Breaky Heart," which helped his debut album, "Some Gave All," to sell more than 9 million copies. He has released a total of 10 albums, starred on the Pax series "Doc" and was a contestant on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." His latest single, "Ready, Set, Don't Go," is a duet with his daughter.

"Home at Last" is set to debut at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 24 and air in half-hour installments over four Saturdays. Jason Hervey and Eric Bischoff -- who created and executive produced sister channel VH1's "Scott Baio Is 45 ... and Single" -- will executive produce "Home at Last" through their Bischoff Hervey Entertainment. Bob Kusbit and Melanie Moreau are executive producers for CMT.
