CNMA nominees unveiled

NFB, MyThm Interactive receive multiple nominations

TORONTO -- The National Film Board of Canada on Tuesday grabbed two nominations at the upcoming Canadian New Media Awards, which reward excellence in local digital media.

The NFB received nods for best cross-platform campaign and best online video portal for a Canadian film-themed online screening room.

Also grabbing two nominations in the best mobile marketing competition is Toronto agency MyThum Interactive for separate campaigns for Molson Coors and Canadian broadcaster Rogers Media.

Canadian brewer Molson Coors will also challenge for best brand of the year for Coors Light alongside Proximity Canada for its Doritos campaign and 8360 Media for its Bitchin' Lifestyle interactive campaign.

The CNMA trophies, to be handed out December 1 in Toronto, will also see digital producers Invoke Media, Trinome and EyeSteelFilm battle it out for best social media application.
