Coldplay Sets 2012 North American Tour Dates
The band will trek through cities like Vancouver, Portland, Los Angeles, Dallas and Washington, D.C. in support of "Mylo Xyloto."
Coldplay is back on tour after nearly three years, and has set dates for a 2012 jaunt through North America.
The tour will kick off in April 2012 at the Rexall Place in Edmonton, Canada, then come to the U.S. after a few dates. They'll play a two-night stint at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on May 1 and 2.

The band is on the road in support of its third studio album Mylo Xyloto. The first two singles off the set recently received three Grammy nominations. "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" is nominated for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song, and the single "Paradise" is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Additionally, PBS' Austin City Limits will air a live 90-minute New Year’s Eve special, “Coldplay New Year’s Eve: An Austin City Limits Special,” on Sat. Dec. 31 at 11p.m.
