Comedian Katt Williams Arrested After November Police Pursuit
The move is just the latest in a string of legal troubles for Williams, who recently signed on to star in "Scary Movie 5."
Comedian Katt Williams was arrested in northern California over the weekend on a warrant related to an earlier police pursuit, the Sacramento Bee reported.
The warrant for felony evading of officers and driving in a reckless manner was issued Friday by the Sacramento County District Attorney's office in response to an alleged "wild driving" incident in Sacramento on Nov. 25.

Williams was taken into custody Friday night in Dunnigan, Calif., by Yolo County Sheriff's deputies and was released Saturday after posting bail.
The California Highway Patrol said Williams was driving a three-wheeled motorcycle Nov. 25 on a downtown Sacramento sidewalk. CHP officers tried to get him to stop, to no avail, which led to the pursuit, during which he allegedly nearly hit five pedestrians. Officers finally ended the chase due to safety reasons.
Williams, who recently signed on to star in Scary Movie 5, has had a string of legal troubles recently.
In November, he was sued by a former personal assistant who claims he hit her; she's seeking more than $5 million in damages.
Also last month, he and Live Nation were hit with a class-action lawsuit claiming that during an Oakland show, which lasted only 10 minutes, Williams took off his clothes and attempted to fight with multiple audience members.
That came just three days after he was reportedly arrested on a battery charge for attacking an aspiring rapper on his tour bus.
He also was reportedly charged with three misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault related to two incidents in Seattle earlier this month.
