Comedy 'Nine Lives' Adds 'Hart of Dixie' Actress (Exclusive)
Talitha Bateman joins Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Garner in the EuropaCorp project.
EuropaCorp’s high-concept comedy Nine Lives, which will star Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner and Christopher Walken, has added young actress Talitha Bateman.
Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld is helming the project from a script by Daniel Antoniazzi and Ben Shiffrin.
The film centers on a stuffy businessman who finds himself trapped inside the body of his family's cat.
Bateman will play Nicole, the best friend of Malina Weissman's character. Mark Consuelos and Robbie Amell also appear in the film.
EuropaCorp is financing, producing and distributing the movie with Christophe Lambert and Luc Besson signed on as producers.
Bateman has a pivotal role in Sony's YA adaptation The 5th Wave opposite Chloe Moretz. She also recurs on The CW's Hart of Dixie. She's repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group and Hg5 Entertainment.
EuropaCorp's other upcoming projects include The Transporter Refueled, opening on Sept. 4; Shut In starring Naomi Watts, which will be released on February 19, 2016; and the action-thriller The Lake starring Sullivan Stapleton and J.K. Simmons, out July 15, 2016.
