Connecticut Elementary Shooting: Hollywood Reacts
Industry responses to the mass shooting at a Newtown, Connecticut elementary school have called for stricter gun control regulations in light of the tragedy.
A mass shooting at a Connecticut elementary school -- which has reportedly left 27 people dead, including 18 children -- has provoked an outpouring of support for victims and responses that have questioned why gun control isn't a higher-priority for politicians.
On Twitter, industry voices have expressed their opinion on the tragic event that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School and the lessons that could be learned from the shooting:
White House spokesman Jay Carney's right - today's not the day to debate gun control. YESTERDAY was the day to debate it.

The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy.
