'Contagion' Moves to Imax Screens
The big screen exhibitor has digitally remastered Steven Soderbergh's thriller for 257 of its super-sized screens from September 9.
TORONTO – Imax Corp. will open the Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion on 257 domestic screens on September 9.
The latest Warner Bros. pic on Imax’s super-sized screens will bow simultaneous with the North American wide release.
And Contagion, which debuted in Venice, is headed to at least 30 Imax theatres internationally, with more playdates to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The thriller, digitally remastered for Imax screens, stars Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet.
