The production outfit behind "The Fall," starring Gillian Anderson, has signed on with the bespoke distributor for upcoming international projects.
LONDON -- Content Television, a division of Content Media Corporation, has inked a first-look deal with U.K. production banner Artists Studio.
The pact will aim to allow the two companies to collaborate on a roster of titles for the international market, they said.

The deal grants Content Television a first-look on acquiring international rights to all Artists Studio productions developed independent of third party commissions.
The agreement was reached after Content Television previously brought several Artists Studio projects to market, including psychological drama The Fall, starring Gillian Anderson, and the crime thriller franchise Thorne, starring David Morrissey and produced by Jolyon Symonds and Greg Dummett.
Led by Gub Neal, Justin Thomson-Glover and Patrick Irwin, Artists Studio operates an innovative production model, working with scriptwriters and authors through partnerships aiming to give creators more control over the journey to screen.

Neal said: "Working hand in glove with a dedicated and bespoke distributor like Content perfectly matches Artists Studio’s mantra of putting the key creatives at the heart of the process, and dealing with the challenges of successful commercial exploitation in a highly personal and talent-friendly way."
Content Television president Greg Phillips noted that Artists Studio’s approach to content development, which keeps the creators and their original vision at the heart of the production process, "is a highly effective model."
