Courteney Cox Opens Up Her Malibu Estate
Courteney Cox shows is taking her fans on a tour of her new house on the sands of Malibu as seen in the July/August issue of Elle Decor magazine, due on newsstands June 28.
The modern house opens onto up to its seaside views with glass walls and sliding doors leading out to a pool and generous decks. "It's very simple, with bronzed-steel trim, white walls and wood floors. Nothing too cluttered and not a lot of fancy details... [it's] exactly how I want to live," said the actress. According to interior designer Trip Haesnisch, the plan was to create a clean canvas that didn't compete with the extraordinary outdoor setting.

The actress was involved down to the fine details, including working with the designer and her architect Michael Kovak to create a custom color surface color for her tennis court: an unusual smoky hue.
"She's got the best energy. People would come in with a carpet and she goes and opens it up and helps them move it. Sometimes people like that can exhaust you but with me it was just so energizing. Her passion is kind of contagious," Hanesich tells THR.
Her residence has also been designed around her love of having Sunday get-togethers with friends. On the side of the house, a small galley kitchen has been added that includes a hot dog window, from which Cox's chef serves up snacks and drinks to guests who are hanging by the pool.
Cox is known for flipping houses — her previous house was an iconic John Lautner on Malibu's Carbon Beach which she bought for $10 million in 2001 and sold to Frank and Jamie McCourt in 2007 in $27.5 million. So it remains to be seen how long she'll hold onto this beauty.
