The move comes after the new Hollywood Reporter breaks news on her upcoming Twitter defamation trial.

Courtney Love's Twitter account, CourtneyLoveUK, has been suspended.

The move comes days after the new Hollywood Reporter broke news about the rocker's upcoming trial for defamation. She is being sued by fashon designer Dawn Simorangkir because of March 2009 Twitter rants she made against the designer. It is the first-ever high-profile defamation trial over a celeb's comments on Twitter. The trial date, originally set for Jan. 18, has been pushed to Feb. 8 for scheduling purposes. It is expected to last at least a week.
