Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison Prepping Reality Show (Video)
The "Lost" actor says of the 35-year age difference between himself and his young bride, "Fifty-one plus 16 equals love in our world."
Aspiring country singer Courtney Stodden and her actor husband Doug Hutchison are working with producers to create their own reality series.
The couple was married in May and are 35 years apart in age: she's 16 and he's 51.
Plans for the reality show were revealed during an interview on Australia's The Morning Show. The couple appeared via satellite from Los Angeles along with their "family," dogs Tuna and Mila. Hutchison said, "We've been seduced by a lot of producers wanting to do a reality TV show and we're in negotiations right now with a very prominent producer and we're talking about the possibility of taking it to networks."
Stodden added, "We have paired up with an amazing production team, so stay tuned for that. It's going to be a reality show like no other. It's going to be out of this world."
When asked about their age difference, Stodden said, "No matter what the world has to say, what others think, embrace it, be happy and live your life."
"Fifty-one plus 16 equals love in our world," noted Hutchinson, who most recently appeared in Fox's Lie to Me.
Other notable quotes included Stodden's answer to why she fell in love with the Lost actor, "Because of his face, his body, and when you find that one man that you know you love, and you love everything about him -- his face, his body, his hair -- go for it."
As for why he fell for her, the buxomly blonde joked, "I have a lot in front of me, I think that's what seduced him."
