'Cowboys & Aliens': Behind the Scenes with Photographer Timothy White (Video)
8:27 PM PDT 7/27/2011 by David Simpson
The famed shutterbug gives us glimpse behind the scenes of the making of the sci-fi film.
Contemporary photographer Timothy White takes us on location in New Mexico as he shoots key art for Jon Favreau's new film Cowboys & Aliens.
In this short film produced by Harsha De Silva, White works with his long- time friend Harrison Ford and explains that he enjoyed working with Daniel Craig because of his collaborative nature and excitement about seeing the finish product.
White also recalls shooting Olivia Wilde in a saloon with natural light coming in through the windows.
The photographer goes on to detail about the difference between shooting on site where he could capture the real feel of the stars in character instead of in a studio.
Cowboys & Aliens opens Friday.
