Creator Katherine Fugate leaves 'Army Wives'
Also served as exec producer of Lifetime drama"Army Wives" creator/exec producer Katherine Fugate has departed the Lifetime drama series, produced by ABC Studios and the Mark Gordon Co.
In a statement, ABC Studios said: "Katherine is incredibly talented, and we're grateful for her work in creating 'Army Wives.' We are very happy to have had the opportunity to work with her." This follows several behind-the-scenes changes since before the show even premiered last year. Most recently, Nick Thiel came on board as showrunner in March, taking over Dee Johnson's duties. "Wives" was picked up for a third season last month.
