Criss Angel Launches New Magic Site (Exclusive)
The illusionist launches an magic academy to search for the next Mindfreak.
Magician and star of A&E’s Mindfreak Criss Angel announced today that he is launching a one-stop magic shop, MagicPlace.com in a live event from Las Vegas Aug. 15.
The site will not only serve as an online magic resource for fans of the entertainer, but will also offer exclusive presentations from fellow illusionists Lance Burton and Seigfried & Roy. In addition to the world’s largest magic store (boasting more than 10,000 items), magic hopefuls can even enroll in Angel’s Mindfreak Magic Academy and compete to perform alongside the entertainer in Las Vegas.
“The site has something to offer everyone and is unique to anything else one would find on the web,” Angel tells The Hollywood Reporter. “When someone thinks magic, their first stop will be MagicPlace.com.”
Season seven of the A&E series has not yet been confirmed. Angel currently appears in the Cirque du Soleil collaboration Criss Angel Believe at the Luxor in Las Vegas.
