HBO's 'Game Change' Casts Its Bristol Palin (Exclusive)

Melissa Farman will play Sarah Palin’s daughter; Larry Sullivan and Jamey Sheridan also join the cast.
HBO's political telefilm, Game Change, continues to add talent.
CSI’s Larry Sullivan has been cast as Sarah Palin’s deputy chief of staff Chris Edwards, while Trauma’s Jamey Sheridan has nabbed the part of John McCain's speechwriter and senior campaign advisor Mark Salter. Temple Grandin’s Melissa Farman will play Bristol Palin.
A Playtone Production in association with Everyman Pictures, Game Change centers on McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, from his controversial selection of Palin to his defeat in the general election.
Ed Harris is already on board to play McCain, while Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson are in as the former Alaska governor and McCain’s senior campaign strategist and advisor, respectively.
The flick is based on the bestselling book of the same name by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. It will be directed by Jay Roach, with a script from Danny Strong. The duo previously collaborated on HBO's Emmy-winning film Recount. Playtone’s Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman will serves as executive producers on the project.
Sullivan, whose previous TV credits include recurring stints on 24, Secret Life of an American Teenager and Women’s Murder Club, is repped by Rothman Patino Andres and Bauman Redanty & Shaul.
Sheridan, who previously appeared in Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Chicago Hope, is repped by ICM. Farman, who had a brief arc on Lost, is repped by SDB partners.
