CTV, Rogers Media hire sports agent

Dan Cimoroni will secure ads for 2010 Olympics

TORONTO -- Canadian broadcasters CTV and Rogers Media on Friday hired sports agent Dan Cimoroni to secure nontraditional advertising for their exclusive Canadian TV coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver/Whistler and the 2012 Summer Games in London.

Cimoroni, most recently vp sports and management at Insight Sports, will join the CTV-Rogers broadcast consortium as vp business development.

CTV-Rogers also hired veteran radio executive Nelson Millman as executive producer of radio, charged with creating pre-Olympic and Olympic cross-platform audio content for the radio, Internet and mobile platforms in Vancouver and London.
