'Curb' Star Jeff Garlin Developing Comedy Vehicle at ABC (Exclusive)
Bruce McCulloch has been tapped to co-write the script and serve as an executive producer.
Jeff Garlin is bringing his brand of comedy to ABC.
The Curb Your Enthusiasm executive producer and star has set up a script deal to write, executive produce and star in an untitled half-hour comedy at ABC Studios. Bruce McCulloch (The Kids in the Hall, Saturday Night Live) is attached to co-write the script and serve as an executive producer.
In recent years, the comedian has become best known for his role as Larry David's manager Jeff Greene on HBO's Curb. Garlin's prior TV credits include Fox's Arrested Development and NBC's Mad About You.
Garlin, whose film roles have included Wall-E and Daddy Day Care as well as his directorial debut I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, is repped by 3 Arts Entertainment and ICM.
