Cybill Shepherd cast in Lifetime telefilm

Actress joins Jennifer Love Hewitt in original movie

Cybill Shepherd has joined the cast of an upcoming Lifetime original movie.

The actress will co-star with Jennifer Love Hewitt in the as-yet-untitled production, playing a body waxer at a woman's salon who is stunned to discovery that her former Texas homecoming-queen daughter (Hewitt) is working as a prostitute to pay the bills.

Shepherd has been active in TV roles during recent years, appearing on ABC's "Eastwick," Showtime's "The L Word" and CBS' "Criminal Minds."

Hewitt also is an executive producer on the film, which is inspired by a true story and produced by Jaffe-Braunstein Entertainment and Hewitt's Fedora Films.

Shepherd is repped by Fortitude and Hofflund/Polone; Hewitt is repped by WME and Untitled.

In other casting news, Henry Zebrowski has been added to NBC's pilot "Beach Lane."

Zebrowski was a series regular on Comedy Central's "Michael & Michael Have Issues" and is repped by Ken Treusch of Bleecker Street Entertainment.

Also, James Carpinello ("The Punisher") has booked a recurring role on CBS' legal drama "The Good Wife." He is repped by APA and Untitled Entertainment.
