It was the series' 11th win in the category.

The Daily Show With Jon Stewart's final Emmys ceremony was a good one.

The Comedy Central series took home the prize for outstanding variety talk series at Sunday night's ceremony. The show had previously won 10 Emmys in the category.

"To everyone on television, I just want to tell you — cling to it as long as you can, like grim death," Jon Stewart said to start his acceptance speech. "I've been off of television for six weeks, seven weeks. This is the first applause I've heard."

He ended his speech with, "Thank you very much — you will never have to see me again." Stewart signed off as the Daily Show host in August, with Trevor Noah set to take the reins as host on Sept. 28.

Daily Show beat out The Colbert Report, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Late Show With David Letterman and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to take home the award. Letterman and Colbert also signed off for good earlier this year, with Colbert sent to take over for Letter on CBS' Late Show.

The 67th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony was hosted by Andy Samberg and held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.
