Former 'Dancing With the Stars' Showrunner Inks Overall Deal at Fox
Veteran reality producer Conrad Green first joined the network in 2014 for the short-lived 'Utopia.'
Conrad Green is setting up shop at Fox Broadcasting Company.
One year after the reality producer joined the network to run the short-lived Utopia, Green has signed a one-year overall deal.
Green most notably served as the executive producer and showrunner of Dancing With the Stars for 18 seasons, where he saw the reality competition become the flagship of ABC's unscripted roster.
Fox is likely very anxious for a new reality flagship of its own. The 2016 end of American Idol, which follows years of steep ratings declines, will leave the network without a shiny floor show — and with more than 30 vacant hours for the 2016-17 season.
Hailing from the U.K., Green was an exec at the BBC. He was also an editor on the first season of the original British Big Brother. He's repped by ICM Partners.
