Most were upset about who didn't win Season 12 of ABC's dancing competition, which came down to Chelsea Kane, Kirstie Alley and Hines Ward.

After the Season 12 winner of Dancing With the Stars was revealed Tuesday night, Twitter users took to the social networking site to speak out about who did -- and didn't -- take home the disco-ball trophy.

Several had kind words for Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver Hines Ward, who won the competition.

"Shouts to Hines Ward for winning Dancing with the Stars," wrote Julius L. Arnold.

Added Jonkita Mosby, "Hines Ward won dancing with the stars yes!! Steelers."

And Caitlin Crall wrote: It has been another great season of Dancing With The Stars! Way to go, Hines :)"

But many more were upset that Chelsea Kane -- long considered a front-runner this season -- came in third. In fact, Chelsea & Mark became a trending topic on Twitter (Kane's pro partner was Mark Ballas).

"Just watching end of DWTS and Chelsea+Mark got 3rd place. R u f***ing kidding me america? She is clearly the best dancer of 3 finmalists :(" wrote Ruthy O'Rourk.

Added Faith x3 // Belieber: "Dear America, when the show is called DANCING With The Stars, you kinda have to vote for the best DANCER. Obv that's Chelsea & Mark ..."

"So sad @chelseakane didn't win dancing with the stars! Hope to see alot more of her soon!!!" wrote Lisa Watkins Cecen.

"In other news... I can't believe Chelsea and Mark placed 3rd on DWTS! I honestly thought they were going to win," tweeted Michelle Lopez.

Added Harlyn Tan: "Third place doesn't do you justice Chelsea And Mark!!"

"Wowowowow dwts chelsea and mark should have won :(" tweeted Reem K.

Opined Laura Chane: "BOOOO!!! CHELSEA AND MARK SHOULD HAVE WON. SHOULD HAVE WON."

Meanwhile, runner-up Kirstie Alley also had at least one supporter in Ashley Marciano: "Dancing with the stars fail. @kirstiealley deserved to win!!!!!!!!"
