'Wonder Years' Actress, Apolo Anton Ohno Tapped for Syfy Telepic

The Wonder Years actress Danica McKellar and Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno have been cast in a new Syfy telepic Tasmanian Devil.

Production on the original TV movie began in British Columbia this month. Jericho actor Kenneth Mitchell co-stars in the film, which centers on base jumpers in a remote Tasmanian national park who are pursued by griizzly bear-sized Tasmanian Devils, creatures who protect the land from intruders.

The project marks Ohno's first acting gig. Tasmanian Devil, from Vesuvius Productions, is set to premiere on Syfy in 2012.
