'Daredevil' Actor Joins Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in 'Shot Caller'
Jon Bernthal and Lake Ball also are part of the cast of this Relativity prison drama.
Matt Gerald, who recently played tailor Melvin Potter in Netflix’s Daredevil, has joined Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in Relativity’s prison drama Shot Caller.
Ric Roman Waugh is directing the feature, which is being produced by Bold Films and Participant Media.
Coster-Waldau is starring as an average family man sent to prison who learns how to navigate prison gang politics and rises to the top even as his family is anxious for his return.
Gerald will play a parole officer looking to bring down some gang members.
The actor, who has appeared in shows such as Castle and Intelligence, is on the big screen with San Andreas. He also will appear in Solace, a thriller starring Colin Farrell.
