'The Dark Knight Rises': Don't Mind Our Gunfire
Pittsburgh 911 dispatchers were prepped for an influx of calls while the films shoots its action scenes in town.

Pittsburgh is currently doubling as Gotham City while the latest Batman installment, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, is filming.

And, while most of the time a town's citizens are not disturbed by much more than street closures, the particularly action-packed film has been having another effect on the Pennsylvania town.

Emergency Management deputy director Raymond DeMichiei told local news station Channel 4 Action News that while citizens should be aware of the movie's agenda, they also shouldn't assume gunfire is fake.

"If you hear shots fired or a disturbance or gunfire, and you feel it's possibly a real event, don't automatically assume that it isn't," said DeMichiei. "Call 911 and report it and we'll figure it out."
Maybe Batman himself will come to the rescue.
