Daryl Hannah Boards 'Greedy Lying Bastards' Documentary as Executive Producer

Daryl Hannah has signed on as executive producer of the documentary Greedy Lying Bastards, directed by first-time filmmaker Craig Rosebraugh. The $1.5 million film is an investigation of the influence the fossil fuel industry has had on the political process and efforts to combat climate change.

“Daryl is a gifted actress with an impressive commitment to environmental protection," said Rosebraugh. "We are elated to have her on the project.”

Patrick Gambuti Jr. co-wrote and edited the documentary, and Michael Brook, who scored An Inconvenient Truth, is composing the original score.

Hannah has been a public advocate for a green lifestyle for more than a decade, through her writing and speaking engagements. She also runs the website dhlovelife.com and is the founder of the Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance. As an actress, Hannah has appeared in Silver City, the Kill Bill films and A Walk to Remember.
