De-Glammed Kim Kardashian Makes First Public Appearance Since Giving Birth
The reality star, who welcomed a daughter two months ago, steps out in an atypically casual outfit that included sweatpants.
Kim Kardashian has finally made her first public appearance since giving birth two months ago.
The reality star and boyfriend Kanye West, who welcomed baby girl North on June 15, took their daughter to a doctor appointment on Wednesday.
The fresh-faced Kardashian wore a significantly more casual outfit than we're using to see her in: a button-down denim shirt, black sweatpants and suede fringe boots. She donned a camouflage sweatshirt around her waist. (See the photos here.)
She also carried what the New York Daily News reported was a $20,000 Hermes leather bag, featuring a gold-plated lock and goat-skin lining, that West reportedly gave to her at her baby shower.
Kardashian isn't typically seen without full makeup and high heels, but toward the end of her pregnancy, she began stepping out in flip-flops.
The reality star hadn't been seen in public since the baby's birth (the baby hasn't been seen at all, with the couple keeping her covered up in her carseat which she was being toted into the doctor's office). Some have speculated she was trying to lose all her baby weight before making her first appearance.
Meanwhile, various reports have run rampant with speculation that the couple are trying to figure out how to introduce their baby to the world, ranging from a Twitter post to the cover of a major magazine.
Baby North, who has no middle name, was born five weeks premature but is said to be healthy.
