Katheryn Winnick has inked a talent holding deal with Fox Broadcasting Co.

Under the mid-six-figure deal, which runs through May 2008, Winnick will be cast in a new drama series project for the network.

Fox originally cast Winnick in the one-hour pilot "13 Graves" last year, and in January, she guest-starred in the highly rated episode "One Day, One Room" of Fox's hit medical drama "House."

"She stood out in it," Fox executive vp casting Marcia Shulman said. "We were tracking her, and after she did that 'House' episode, we knew we wanted to stay in business with her."

This pilot season, Winnick was cast as the lead in Fox's one-hour pilot "Nurses." The role was recently recast after the character was taken in a different, more comedic direction.

On the big screen, Winnick next appears in New Line Cinema's "Amusement" and the indie "When Nietzsche Wept."

She is repped by UTA, manager Marc Shumacher and attorney Jeff Bernstein.
