Grab domestic distribution rights to ITV Studios seriesNEW YORK -- In the latest deal between the two companies, Debmar-Mercury has acquired domestic distribution rights to ITV Studios series "Hell's Kitchen."
The Fox show featuring celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay returns for its two-hour eighth season premiere on Sept. 22.
Debmar and ITV Studios announced two other collaborations this year. They previously unveiled the development of syndicated talk panel show "The Chefs" and a U.S. first-run version of "The Jeremy Kyle Show," the highest-rated U.K. daytime talk show.
"What is so striking about this phenomenal series is its enduring strength," said Debmar co-president Ira Bernstein. "It is a proven performer that we strongly believe has the potential to play across a variety of dayparts in off-network syndication."
Co-president Mort Marcus added: "We are excited to see our relationship grow with an ideal partner like ITV Studios. Its series have the unique ability to cut through the clutter, resonate with viewers and‹perhaps most importantly‹show enormous staying power."
